When dry, Eva is an average sized woman, with long blonde hair, bright eyes and an infectious smile. She tends to have a look of mischief about her in almost everything she does. She possesses a slim build from hours in the water and the all powering need to look completely fabulous in these bikini's she has to wear now. However, if she touches salt water, her tail once again appears. Covering where her legs would normally be, the scales are an irredescent blue interspersed with green scales with a large fin at the bottom.
Distinguishing Marks: Small scar on her lower back where she was caught in a fishing line when she was young. And well... her tail tends to be distinguishing

Birth Location: Off the coast of Greece in the Aegean Sea
Personality: Eva is one in a million and she's very well aware of this fact. Some could say it's gone to hear head a little bit. But of course she would never agree with that, she'd simply say that she's just a confidant woman, no harm in that. Eva tends to be a little overly curious, nosy, devious any of those things. She simply likes to be a part of everything, loves to be the center of attention. But on that note, if the opposite happens, it's best to hope you weren't the one ignoring her. Eva holds a grudge, she has a firey tempestuous temper much like a hurricane. She is spiteful and if scorned, you will know you were the one to do it. Ex-boyfriends beware. But poor things... it's so hard to resist her if she wants it that way.

Personal Background:
Evadne, meaning water nymph, was born in the waters just off the coast of Greece. Warm, sparkling waters. Her father was a merman, a rather important one as far as those things goes. Her mother however was a Siren. While usually holding contempt for men and their kind, her mother fell in love with her father and Evadne was the result. The adulterous affair was shunned by her mother's family and Evadne was left with her father to be raised, never to hear from her mother again. But, it phased Eva little. She was quickly accepted by her father's family as if she were just as the rest of them.

Her early life was simple and carefree. Her family stuck to the warm sunny waters in Greece, occassionally going on land but far preferring to remain in the temperate waters of their home. There was play, enjoying the water, the beaches and the company of her friends and family.

Evadne tended to stay with the females, having been taken in by her father's extended family, such was the way of the merfolk. She saw her father occassionally, knowing very little about him. In fact she even had a brother, an older one, but never knew him as spent his time with the males. However, as Evadne began to grow older, her differences became more apparent. She had abilities the other mermaid's didn't. While some might have felt awkward or like an outcast. Not Evadne, she reveled in her differences. An older mermaid in the family, one who was similar to Evadne, took her under her wing and taught her the power of the female, of the siren's call. It empowered Evadne, but it was also brutal, learning her history and the expendable view of men. But she accepted it as simply the way of the world and her role in it.

She was content in her life, growing into a beautiful woman that turned heads with or without her natural powers. But it didn't last, as all good things rarely last forever. When Evadne was 19 things changed. She was sitting on a rock at sea, sunning herself as she loved to do. She hadn't even realized she was singing when a ship came into view. A look of mischief filled her eyes and she continued, riling the men aboard the ship who couldn't resist the sight of her and the sound of her voice. The ship crashed into the rocky waters she loved to play in and all the men aboard were drowned. She didn't feel any remorse, never had for such things. But it was different this time as the men she killed were members of a very powerful family who didn't leave the death of their son to the fates of the sea. Rather, Eva, her family and friends were hunted down like common animals. They didn't differentiate between Sirens, between merfolk... it was all the same to them in the name of revenge. She saw too much death with nearly the entirery of her friends and family forced to flee or die, scattering to various parts of the globe, far waters and lands.

Hoping vengance had been extracted, Eva set about findind a way to live her life. Feelings of guilt occassionally coursing through her system at the death of those she knew and loved. It was, however, the way of the world. After a few months, she was discovered by a Scout for Halcyon. She agreed to go. If anything Eva is concious of the fact that she is rare. She is proud of her heritage and wants to continue it in whatever way possible. So if living in a school, so far from her warm, comfortable, home waters she will do so. And probably have a little fun in the process.

Family: Essentially gone as far as Eva knows.
Brother - Silas
Weakness: Being away from salt water for more than a few days, the longer she goes the weaker she is (She's never gone more than 3 days and the transformation is painful if she waits more than a day or so). Sweets. Beautiful things.
Magical Abilities: When emotions run high, it tends to affect the water around her to a certain degree.
Any Training: In luring men? Plenty. Just what she's received at Halcyon otherwise.
Special Skills: Siren's call, ability to lure men through the sound of her voice, hard to resist. The power is much stronger against humans, supernaturals do not feel the effect to the same extent. Ability to breath underwater as well as her tail. Swimming skills that are beyond excellent.
